Re: Need 48h to install

Ha-
I live at the other side of the earth. So i read you mail latter.
I have a X80586 Notebook.It only has 32Mb RAM and 2G harddisk.
It runs Debian very well. Of course, it only has the text mode.I am
installing Debian using the network-installer. Because CD-ROM doesn't
work well.

At each start, you have the "Low memory" warning. it tells you have to
make the swap memory much bigger. My Notebook has 32Mb RAM , so i make
64Mb swap memory for it. The whole installing runed only for 3h. I
solved the same problem.

The old Notebook can make much more fun.
God Luck.
