If you really need to install Woody, I suggest you send your request for help to a debian-user list. Alternatively you can try installing Sarge using the new Debian Installer. The new installer has much better support for recent hardware. You can find current images for Debian Installer at [1]. The project page for the installer is [2]. If you have any problems, please file an installation report [3]. The current available "current" images are version "pre-RC3". We expect to release RC3 shortly and that is expected to be the version that Sarge will ship with when released.
