Did you check that that adds another question between partconf and
debootstrap? I worked around it by killing debootstrap, deleting the
partial download, creating the link and then restarting it. (I don't
want to get all those extra questions expert mode throws at me.)


But the question remains. If this is not too uncommon it would be
worth working on. If it is just me wanting it then I will save my
time.
