Linking /var|/usr|/home during install

Hi,

I reinstalled a desktop recently and I'm fond of having a small /
partition that includes /boot and not much else. But having partitions
for /var, /usr, /home on a small disk means you easily misjudge the
size of one and run out of space.

So what I wanted to do was make 3 partions:

/ 256 Mib
swap 128 Mib
/mnt rest

and link (or --bind mount) /var, /usr and /home to /mnt.

So far so good. I start D-I, partition the disk, commit the changes
and without delay debootstrap starts and installs everything on
/. There is no point in there where you can create the links or mount
the partitions the way I wanted.

I'm wondering how common this wish to link or --bind mount is and if
its worth adding support for it to partconf. So anyone with a similar
partitioning scheme say 'aye'.
