Did the system you installed with 2.6 boot up ok? Was de4x5 loaded by
discover then, or is the module not available for 2.6 at all?
It doesn't even get past partitioning the disk. See my other comments
in the bug report.
FWIW, CONFIG_DE4X5 does seem to be available in 2.6 so it is an option
at least. No idea if its the correct choice though. Tulip works well
so unless there's a good reason not to, I'd suggest loading that one.
