Comments/Problems:

I am attempting to install Debian Sarge on a SUN Blade 100. I got a ISO image for sparc using jigdo.

The kernel seems to load correctly, but when I get to the first installation screen "Please choose your language" the keyboard is completely frozen. The keyboard connected to the machine is the default SUN usb keyboard. I notice during the kernel boot that the usbkbd module is loaded.

I found other bug reports linked to the usb keyboard on the Blade series. However, no solution suggested in those reports will unlock the keyboard on my machine. One solution suggested hitting the ESC key twice to go back a level in the install procedure. This has no effect for me.

I would greatly appreciate any help that could be provided.

Daniel
