Comments/Problems:
a) - About network config: my adsl router (conceptronic) seems to answer 2-3 times with a NAK reply before ACK'ing a valid IP address. I need to repeat dhcp autconfiguration once to get the values. I believ this is particular to my network settings and this problem should be ignored by debian developers as will not apply to others.

b) - The problem I want to report here is that after the installation is complete I get a LANGUAGE variable setup with the following values:
LANGUAGE=en_PT:en_US:en_GB:en
"en_PT" makes no sense, correct value is pt_PT.

I have a clue of from where does this value comes from: I like my system in english, so I choose "english" as the language, and then I have to find "Portugal" where one needs to select the location... maybe the "en" + "PT" comes from those 2 choices...

c) - Kernel installed is not i686 but i386. This shoulb be working by now, as stated in http://wiki.debian.net/?DebianInstallerFAQ
Bug 237529 should therefore be reopen
