Bug#268580: GRUB hangs on first boot after base install

Tried again with the latest netinst snapshot, the problem is still present. However I've managed to make it work.

I've installed an old 1 GB hard disk as /dev/hdd or (hd1) and installed Debian in that disk (840M ext3 root all inclusive, 256M swap) as a test. Debian Installer still put Grub on the MBR of /dev/hda or (hd0), and I have to set hda as BIOS boot device instead of hdd (that was what I originally planned). But in this way it works: Grub starts (stage 1.5 present) and I can boot the system.

Hope this helps to track the problem.
