Bug#275855: acknowledged by developer (Re: Bug#275855: Where is net-drivers.img ? (Regression compared to rc1))



The net-drivers floppy image is not there as you don't need it for an
installation where you boot from floppy, but install from CD.
Why would you download the entire CD if you're not going to use it?

Because this is the main useful link on the main page of debian-installer.
Because I could not find net-drivers.img easily anywhere.
Because the same installation CD could be used for different installations, and I don't think to be the only one to expect to have everything "important" on it.
Because it did work with rc1 (where I burnt a CD and found it useless).

Just download the floppy images from [1] if you want to do an network
installation; you won't need the cd-drivers floppy.
