I used the default boot method, by just pressing return.
Stupidly, I failed to remember when sending the bug report that I was
giving the machine to my father shortly thereafter. I don't have the
machine any more, so I can't garner further details from it.
Sorry to waste your time if this makes my report defunct - I hoped it
would be useful in a "oh yeah, loads of other people had that problem too"
sense.
