I use this as an opportunity for asking.

Is the maintenance of discover1 debconf and programs translations
still needed?

I mean, if the package is still used in d-i, of course, maintaining
its translations is needed.....but if it will soon be replaced, then
we should rather focus on discover2 translations if some are needed
(are they? Last time I checked, it was not i18n'ed).
