Bug#246327: Done and more info?
A quick followup:
This past weekend I custom compiled a 2.6.5 kernel. (The 2.6 kernel on the
Debian installer died on my machine.) This kernel is using a SCSI driver to
implement SATA support. Now my disks are recognized as:
Windows: hda sda
Debian: hde sdb
(hdc, hdd are
However, after using the BIOS to boot from disk 2, Grub still boots Debian
by referring to (hd0,*).
