Comments/Problems:

Error during the installation of the base system. Error Message (I will try to translate it from german):
debootstrap exited with error 1
("debootstrap wurde mit einem Fehler beendet (zurückgegebener Wert 1)")
in /var/log/messages there are several errors. I think, the most important is:
"dpkg: error processsing libpam-runtime (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1"
All other packages which require libpam-runtime are also failing because of this error.

After this installation, I downloaded the installation-cd with the base
system, which works.

This was caused by a problem with the libpam-runtime package, since
fixed.
