Of course I'm not in a position to give my opinion, as I'm not capable
of helping with the "work on it furiously" part, but I would say go for
it.

It seems to me that partman has a lot of potential and all what's needed
is a more wider audience giving it a try so people would be able to
actually *know* which are the worst bugs which need to be fixed.

Just my R$ 2,00 (that's two reals, our currency here in Brazil :-) )
