Please add this to the |>instalation doku. | | | I'd be glad to, but what the hell is MBA, aside from masters in | business administration? MBA is 3Com's Managed PC Boot Agent. Thze Images you provie in the boot-floppies are for Etherboot Agents. Some 3Com nics have a buildt in boot agent. this is 3Com's proprietary MBA. So if you wanna boot a tftp-image on a 3Com nic you need to extend the image to be make it bootable for the 3Com MBA. The LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project) provides a simple linux utility to convert etherboot-images to mba-images. Have a look at the pages from the the LTSP. They discribe the problem on their page: http://www.ltsp.org/documentation/LTSP-MBA.htm Michael -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6d-cvs (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE8qYRzBSpWS08ZgdgRAsfZAJ9MY1GKPmxwYRDBBuXunEICh7IpkACgpMfX oCBjGxGfKALtnem6Lk96H+c= =digA -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
