SIS? The TLA for Shit In System?

Sorry, but AFAIK are SIS users the only group whinning about VGA16. It
seems that this shared memory controller does not manage plain VGA mode
correctly.

I guess you do not see any benefit from using framebuffer, correct?
Well, many people that need more than 8bit-character-screen have a
different opinion.
