I performed another install of woody using the current (as of this morning)
boot-floppy bf2.4 images. I performed the install on a VMWare virtual
machine fyi.

Here is an sample of what I am seeing on Alt-F3 :
Mar 25 09:10:23 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: installing /tmp/drivers.tgz
Mar 25 09:10:27 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: successfully installed
/tmp/drivers/tgz
Mar 25 09:10:27 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: kernel and module install
was successful
Mar 25 09:10:27 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: moving away /lib/modules to
/lib/modules.old
Mar 25 09:10:27 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: making /lib/modules a link
to /target/lib/modules
Mar 25 10:14:53 (none) user.info dbootstrap[61]: running
'/usr/sbin/debootstrap --boot-floppies --arch i386 woody /target
http://http.us.debian.org:80/debian'

And this is what I see on Alt-F4:
perl: warning: Please check that you locale settings:
	LANGUAGE = (unset),
	LC_ALL = (unset),
	LC_CTYPE = "C@utf-8",
	LANG = "C"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
Starting system log daemon: syslogd

On my previous install I didn't see anything on Alt-F4, but then again I only
looked while the modules were being downloaded.

Sorry this took so long. Please let me know if I can provide any further
information. It would look as though I was just confused by what information
is considered debug and what is not.
