Bug#94877: boot-floppies: install uses default ppp config even if different one was created
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 20010309
Severity: normal
there is a network config during install process, if user chooses
ppp then one can configure ppp, giving some name to a configuration file.
right after this the install process tries to start ppp but uses the
default name 'provider' instead of user supplied name. Of course, it fails
and user is confused...
it is possible to go to oter VT and start pon newConfigName but the user
has to be fairly familiar with how the whole process works to figure out
what's going on.
the install process does not hint that the default name should not be
changed or that it has some unpleasant consequencies
