Need a working disk image set
I have been attempting to reinstall a Debian base system on my computer that already had 2.0.34 installed on it. I have downloaded the disk images for 2.1.12-1999 and had a problem on installing the base14-4 disk, where I get an error message saying "Error writing to disk: success." I have attempted to download from two separate computers, using different floppies in each case, all with the same error. I also tried getting 2.1.12.2000, and had a problem with being unable to continue after the first drivers disk. Once again I had the problem on two separate computers, with two separate floppies.
In each instance I was downloading the images onto a Windows PC, and using rawrite2 to write the images onto a formatted floppy.
Can you please recommend the best disk image series to obtain? I have been trying for two weeks now without any luck. It is extremely frustrating because the computer I am using does not have a CD-ROM drive to do an installation from. Please help by responding directly to this address.
