Right.  PPP is not supported for the installation of the kernel,
drivers, or base.  Thus we have decided (duh!) that its best if this
is just handled by base-config.  This makes dbootstrap simpler -- it
also accomodates Dale Scheetz, since he can configure the network
*and* configure PPP if he wants.
