Yes, I missed it because I just joined the list. I've now read part of 
the thread.

This is something I've missed a lot. A bootable CD with a bootable
floppy for those systems that cannot boot from CD. It would be very
useful for repairing systems (both Linux and Windows systems), for
trying Debian and last but not least for installing Debian.

I am very interested in making a live Debian file system. Did anything 
happen but discussion? Anyone? If not I'm willing to start working
with it. If yes I'm willing to help.
