Re: Bug#56634: Acknowledgement (Wrong driver? (Tekram DC-390))

Debian boot floppies 2.2.7, i386, rescue.bin, compact rescue.bin, and
safe rescue.bin, all appear to use the AM53C974 driver for my Tekram
DC-390 SCSI PCI card. This _is_ the correct driver to my knowledge,
_but_ I am _not_ a developer so my opinions on this are not reliable.

Anyway, it's still broke the same way as with 2.2.5 and 2.1.12. (2.1.9
works fine!)

Perhaps tmscsim is the correct driver?

Once one of you experts determine, for sure, what the real correct driver
is, then, is it working correctly?

I have no way to know how I can help you fix whatever is wrong. Remember,
I am _not_ a developer like you all. So, I _don't_ know those things.

But, if you can prepare a boot floppy image for me to try, I can do that.
Just tell me where to download it from. I'll let you know what happens.
