I am working on a live filesystem (demo-fs) for debian that will
autodetect the hardware and load the relevant modules. And someone
else is working on a bootdisk that uses initrd for module loading
before booting the real linux system (there was a mail on debian-boot
from him just today).

Both projects overlap for the boot disks/code, so it gets intresting
whos system makes it.

My scripts will be released at

ftp://mirjam.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/debian/demo-fs/

At the moment there are the scripts needed to create the demo-fs but
not yet the boot disks themself.

May the Source be with you.
