Subject: Slink install on Laptop(disks-i386/2.1.4 and 2.1.3)
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.3.96.981231182034.23780A-100000@step.mother.com>
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII
Slink with the disk sets both 2.1.4 and 2.1.3 are both failing to install
after uncompressing the base2_1.tgz image. On a laptop using PCMCIA. The
error appears under the install window and appears to be
(somthing)cardmgr: Text file busy
After killing cardmgr the install completes normally. And successfully
installs the base2_1.tgz image.
(The laptop is an AST Asentia 950n which installed fine with 1.3 as I
recall a while back.)
