Ok, so it's legal :-) But please use resc1440.bin (never saw 14 MB
floppies).

I can do it as soon as I've got CVS installed and checked out the current
tree. Would even include the slice-ified master file as an extra. The 
precise procedure to get the patch in is less of an issue. I'd like one 
of the boot-floppies team to look over the patch and give me the official
blessing to do it that way (or carte blanche if you trust me that far).

Fine; Chris told me that he's into SGML and can send you any further updates
in that format. The Amiga side will need to add some notes on how to get the 
zoo of graphics cards configured for booting to preempt questions on the ML
about that part. Well, I seem to be dreaming; I only read documentation
after posting silly questions :-) But it might help some.

We may keep the old install guides around as a sort of quick reference; they
talk the user through the procedure quickly without dwelling too long on the 
basics. But maybe the 'official' docs are just as concise now, and I'm just
harboring some strange sort of m68k underground resentments?
