If you like this option, call 'em up or send an email, see if you can
get a time limited demo.  Explain what you're doing, heck they might
say OK here's a 30day license, or they might say screw, but so what.

for the password cracker (I've run that on my cluster...), you can use
john the ripper, but you'd need to breakup what ever password file
you're cracking into 16 pieces (one per CPU is most efficient) and run
16 parallel instances.  There's some trick to this I forget just now,
but it involves making sure each cracking process keeps state in a
different file so they don't trash each other, it's in the docs.  With
openMosix you can start them on one node while running mosmon and
watch how they get balanced out.

I don't know of any crack programs that will run a parallel crack on a
single password, though it would be trivial to parallelize.
