The 3C905CX comes with a 3COM boot agent, which we exchange for Etherboot.
We do not use anything in the bios of the motherboard, just the Etherboot
image in the boot prom of the card.

Your BIOS will let you use LAN as your primary boot device? My ECS board has a Realtek 8100 chip embedded, no PROM to be found, so my IBA must be in the BIOS, I suppose.
