I am in a similar situation.
My uid was added to the whitelist ~ 3 days ago [rt.debian.org #8330].
I tried yesterday (and today) to upload to buster-backports, but my
upload was not accepted by any per-suite acl (suite=buster-backports).
Did I miss something?
