Oh, sorry about that. I was under the (mistaken) impression that
the person I was responding to was the person whose upload got
rejected, because I didn't look at the initial posting in the
thread too closely. Please consider this specific objection of
mine completely moot in this case - on the contrary: since you
are doing the backport (and not just someone who wanted to have
a more recent version of it in backports, as is the case with
many other packages that get backported), this makes me feel a
_lot_ better about it.
