Hi,
I'd like to see a backport of socat (1.7.3.1 or later) to stable.
The feature I want is that socat now actually checks the server's
name against the certificate it presents when using openssl-connect.
(Something that stunnel4 still doesn't do.)
Can you upload socat to backports? Should somebody else do it?
