Upload issues

Hi,
I am trying to sponsor an upload to backports.
However the upload fails because the queue daemon is not able to check
my signature [1].

However my key has been is the latest Debian keyring for a couple of
months at least.

$ gpg --keyring /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg
--no-default-keyring --list-key B4BCA5D7
pub   1024D/B4BCA5D7 2000-08-18
uid                  Ludovico Cavedon <ludovico.cavedon@gmail.com>
uid                  Ludovico Cavedon <cavedon@cs.ucsb.edu>
uid                  Ludovico Cavedon <cavedon@sssup.it>
uid [jpeg image of size 3493]
sub   1024g/50061114 2000-08-18

(No @debian.org uid yet, though)

What could be the problem? Is the keyring used by backports outdated?

Thanks you in advance,
Cheers,
Ludovico
