pidgin backport and security issues

Hi,

according to this page (and several other ones):

  http://security-tracker.debian.net/tracker/CVE-2009-1373

the pidgin version in lenny-backports is vulnerable to several security
issues whereas the version in squeeze is not.  So could someone please
update the backport ?
