problems with grub in bpo?

Hi!
I needed the feature grub-reboot for my PC. So I got the grub from bpo
yesterday.
After a grub-install /dev/sda I could boot windows with grub, but not
linux anymore.
sda1 is windows with 20 gb
sda2 is / with 20 gb...
But with grub from sarge OR from testing I can boot both, but only with
testing I can use grub-reboot.
so grub in bpo is broken?
