Please do recheck the output of

    systemctl status avahi-daemon.service
    systemctl status avahi-daemon.socket

Restarting networking might not have the effect you are hoping for.

Obviously there is some "169.254.xx.xx" left. Assuming you are using 
ifupdown (/etc/network/interfaces) to configure your network please run

    ifdown eth0
    ifup eth0


or just reboot the system if possible.
