Did the reboot,   lost the unwanted ipv6 stuffs, but the 169.254.etc 
stuff is still there.

pi@picnc>cd /etc
pi@picnc>sudo grep -R 169.254 *
pi@picnc>

So where else might it be hiding?

I have grep -R doing the whole thing, but theres 100+ gigabytes of ssd's 
that will search.
