Once I tried with a LaFonera to archieve the same, wasting a day or so.
The result was, as soon as I turned on encryption, it stop working.
So I *think*, that the AP / WPA checks or uses the MAC address of the
frame for encryption or to check if the packages are legitimate.
Short story: I do not think this will work.

I like very much the Oliver private post but this procedure is _too_ big
for me ,-). I just want to know:
1) what to do the bonding transition
2) how to revert bonding If I want.
Does your access point support bonding? If not, then it won't work as
far as I know.
My access point? Why the active-backup bonding depends on AP and not
only on my box (nslu2)? Can you explain me technical details?
My router is "Belkin ADSL modem with wireless G-router" model # F5D7632-4.
It's a similar router like

but I don't know if it supports bonding.
