I noticed that one sentence was unclear:

Eh, "ported to ARM" sounds more than it really means. I just had to
make sure we have the right fb drivers and generate an image with the
graphical installer, but there was no real "porting" work. All the
real work was done by the people who implemented the graphical
installer.
