update-grub
Hi,
I know there is probably not the best place to ask...
Any way, since many upgrades of the linux-image I have problems to
setup the image...
the error is pretty similar to...
run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-update-grub
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub
run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-update-grub exited with return code 1
Failed to process /etc/kernel/postinst.d at
/var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64.postinst line 799.
I found the update-grub command do nothing and silently end...
To have the image correctly setup I need to boot in the old image
2.6.32-9 and everything goes right...
The images installed
ii linux-image-2.6.32-3-amd64 2.6.32-9
Linux 2.6.32 for 64-bit PCs
iF linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 2.6.32-26
Linux 2.6.32 for 64-bit PCs
udev
ii udev 163-1
/dev/ and hotplug management daemon
Where is the problem with the new images I pretend to let it pass but
now I feel I need to do something that I don't know...
Could you help me please?
