please be awair that the debianized nvidia driver is your best option.
i have used your card extensively in debian linux for amd64 cpus
i have since upgraded to sli'd 7900gs's.
all work perfectly.
alas for various reasons (they arent free being one of them) the
nvidia binary drivers arent in by default.
please email me and i will help your through it
its not new ground i assure you.
