I have a Tyan Thunder K8S S2880GNR and have no problems -- running stable over a year now. The S2850G2NR is strictly speaking a 'Tomcat' not a 'Tiger', with PCI instead of PCI-X, but with the same chipset. I wouldn't worry about this one. Dave
