Inside your chroot you need to have the nvidia driver installed too.
This would be 'nvidia-glx'.  This error looks like it is missing
there.

[Hint: In order to install nvidia-glx it depends on an nvidia-kernel
package.  I would install one just to satisfy the dependencies but it
is not otherwise used in the chroot.]
