Hey Ross,

For what it's worth, setting up the chroot will take longer
than downloading the source package by hand. You can download
the sources as follows (and skip the chroot step):

$ wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cdrdao/cdrdao_1.1.9-3.dsc
$ wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cdrdao/cdrdao_1.1.9.orig.tar.gz
$ wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cdrdao/cdrdao_1.1.9-3.diff.gz

Or if you'd prefer to use a browser, then visit:

   http://packages.debian.org/unstable/otherosfs/cdrdao

(and pull down the 3 files listed above).

Then extract the sources with:

$ dpkg-source -x cdrdao_1.1.9-3.dsc

The next step is the "cd cdrdao-1.1.9" step, just before you
apply the patch from the BTS (bug tracking system).

If you have any problems with the build, please feel free
to email me directly.

HTH,
tony
