AMD64 Compat List

I've been running the gcc-3.4 distribution on an IWill DK8N board with
one Opteron 248 since late November without any significant problems.
So I suggest adding the following to the list of supported boards:

  Mainboard IWill DK8N
  ATA amd74xx
  ATA Raid -
  Serial ATA sata_nv + sata_sil (have only used sata_nv)
  SCSI -
  Network forcedeth
Sound - (I have an Audigy 2 card, so have not tried the
                 integrated sound under Linux)

I put amd74xx for ATA as this is the module I load. The board is
nForce3 250Gb-based and the amd74xx has support for this chipset.
Make sure to list this driver in /etc/modules before ide_generic,
otherwise it will not be used and DMA will not be available.

For sensors I am using the w83627thf module, but I do not trust
the results I am getting. It is probably a matter of editing
sensors.conf for the DK8N. IWill may have hooked up the Winbond
chip in a non-standard way. Here is the output from sensors:

w83627thf-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
VCore: +1.56 V (min = +1.93 V, max = +1.93 V) ALARM
+12V: +0.00 V (min = +10.82 V, max = +13.19 V)
+3.3V: +3.26 V (min = +3.14 V, max = +3.47 V)
+5V: +4.96 V (min = +4.75 V, max = +5.25 V)
-12V: -14.91 V (min = -10.80 V, max = -13.18 V)
V5SB: +4.97 V (min = +4.76 V, max = +5.24 V)
VBat: +2.48 V (min = +2.40 V, max = +3.60 V)
fan1: 0 RPM (min = 4560 RPM, div = 2)
CPU Fan: 0 RPM (min = 18750 RPM, div = 2)
fan3: 0 RPM (min = 3292 RPM, div = 2)
M/B Temp: +45C (high = +36C, hyst = +64C) sensor = diode ALARM
CPU Temp: +36.0C (high = +80C, hyst = +75C) sensor = thermistor
temp3: +127.5C (high = +80C, hyst = +75C) sensor = thermistor ALARM
vid: +0.000 V (VRM Version 9.0)
alarms: Chassis intrusion detection ALARM
beep_enable:
          Sound alarm enabled

Several of these do not make sense, e.g., the -12V which is reported
to be at almost -15V; the M/B temp is higher than the CPU temp and the
CPU temp is lower than the temp I'm getting from a probe attached to
the heatsink. I don't trust temp3 either. I'm guessing that M/B
temp and CPU temp have been swapped. This matches better with my
other temp probes.

As for the fans, I don't have any fans connected to the fan sensors on
the motherboard, so the 0 values are not of concern.

Anybody else on the list with this board?
