Re: New soundcard, no cd sound
Hi Erik,
By 'cd playback' I just mean to play back an audio cd. On my GA-K8NSPro
mobo the CD-rom audio cable plugs into the mobo.
Thanks for the alsa link, there is a lot of good info there.
I can play sound from DVD, mp3, onboard synth (freebirth), etc, it seems
to be just the audio cd that has no sound.
I got a lot of replies to this query, thanks to all who replied and I am
working my way thru your suggestions. And I got a new coffee-pot and
some strong coffee.
Regards,
Norv
