You seem to think that a source working with one version of the
toolchain, but not another, indicates a toolchain bug. This is not the
case. If the code exhibits undefined behavior, the problem might show
up or not based on minor changes in either the toolchain or the
source. So the experiment you suggest does not help to learn the
source of the problem.
