Ok. I would suggest adding the following paragraph at the end of this
page:

The installer requires the SRM-console to be present. Be sure to
switch to SRM before starting the installation. If you have a
AlphaBIOS/Arc-only machine you need to to a (minimal) woody
installation and a subsequent upgrade. For more information about the
different consoles please read the references on the <a
href="http://www.debian.org/ports/alpha";>Debian alpha port web
pages</a>.


I can update the ports-page to list the boot-options later this year
(sorry, I am on the move right now), so that this information is more
visible. But the links in the links-Section of the ports-page should
already answer all the details.
