Thanks, that was it. It's working now.
If someone has similar problems, I can confirm that this combination
works for me:
- Debian Sarge ISO NetInst snapshot 20050430
- Alpha XL300 with AlphaBIOS 5.70
- MILO (xlt) from woody release
- boot hd: "boot sda2:/vmlinuz root=/dev/sda2 initrd=/initrd.img"
- boot netinst cd: "boot sr0:/boot/vmlinuz ramdisk_size=16384
initrd=/boot/initrd.gz root=/dev/ram devfs=mount,dall"
