Konqueror and Javascript

Hello again,

Thankyou Helge for your advice on kernel upgrades. I finally managed to 
compile my first working kernel using make-kpkg and 'make xconfig'. I was 
very proud! :~) Also now my Alpha shows both penguins during startup and 
everything runs much nicer under 2.4.21.

I haven't been able to get Mozilla working and understand from Jens response 
to my question about this that I probably won't get it working any time soon.

Konqueror runs very nicely in KDE3 but on some sites with javascript it 
crashes instantly. For example if I point it at ebay.co.uk it only gets as 
far as the html title before it crashes and disappears. Other sites with 
simple javascript display and work fine. Is there something that I can do 
about this? I googled for answers to this one already and can see that KDE 
believe this is due to some faulty distro-specific packages. I'm guessing 
that I can replace less than the entire konqueror package to solve the 
problem but I dont know the specific areas to look.
