Hi Falk, hi list,

It's actually /proc/srm_environment. It's activated with
CONFIG_SRM_ENV in "System setup".

Thanks for the hint! Couldn't find it with 'make menuconfig' but edited .config.

While 'make' this error message appeared:

DAC960.c: In function `DAC960_V2_EnableMemoryMailboxInterface':
DAC960.c:1054: internal error--unrecognizable insn:

            (const_int 4398046511104 [0x40000000000]))) -1 (nil)
cpp0: output pipe has been closed
make[3]: *** [DAC960.o] Error 1

This appears also with other modules, i.e. atm.

Googling around I found out that it might have something to do with gcc, I'm using

fehmarn:/usr/src/linux# dpkg -l gcc
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description
ii gcc 2.95.4-14 The GNU C compiler.

An ideas?
