replacement cpu board (was Dead Box)

I sent out an email about a week ago about my dead Digital Server 3305,
and i got a bunch of responses, i thank you all for that. Last night i
was able to perform various tests on the box, and unfortunately the PSU
seems not to be the problem. The power gets to the motherboard, and the
motherboard transfers the power to the cpu board, all at the right
voltages.

I did find though, what i blame for the "fried smell", a small part
seems to have gotten hot enough to unsolder itself from the cpu board.
So i resoldered it, and tried it again, once again it did nothing. But
the part got _really_ hot, obviously hotter than standard operating
temperatures.

All signs point to something being broken (But not visibly different) on
the cpu board which is the cause of the extreme heating of this little
black part (i wish i could say what it was, but im no EE, and i dont
remember what my friend said it was).

This probably isnt the place to ask, but seeing how its the biggest/best
repository of people that own alphas that i can find, i'll ask anyways.
Does anyone here have a Digital Server 3305 cpu board that they want to
sell? I really dont feel like buying a whole new alpha (and god forbid i go
back to x86), and i cant seem to find anyone on the net that sells parts
for such old alphas.

I thank you all for all the help thus far, greatly appreciated
